This is a quick little sketch carried out while waiting for the Ferry to Bodinnick. I love the old buildings and have wanted to paint this scene for some time. It was a lovely sunny September afternoon, the tide was on the turn so I had to work quickly before the water disappeared. It was very quiet and peaceful, a very enjoyable hour or so.
