Bodmin moor is interesting at any time of the year, this watercolour was started in situ and finished back in the studio. I am not an adept 'en plein air painter' but I felt this was the only way to record the colours of the end of summer foliage and shape of the gorse and distant trees.
Artwork size is 19x19cm and finished in a waxed wooden frame measuring 36x36cm.
