This sketch was carried out sitting on the quay at the idyllic Pont Pill looking down the river. I loved the way the early morning light was hitting the trees, though I had to work quickly as the tide was going out. It is such as beautiful location nestled at the end of the river, so peaceful, with only the local wildfowl as company.
